Nice things in Japan

There are many nice things in Japan and I love them all. Food is so wonderful in Japan and Japanese make some of the best food in world. Japanese make food look so beautiful so not does it taste good but it looks good also. On this day I had sushi for the first time in an actual sushi restaurant. It was so delicious I could not believe it I could actually taste how much care the chef took in preparing my sushi. Then you have the temples they are wonderful also and always so well kept. Buddhist temples in Japan are like going back in time and I feel like I am experiencing Japan hundreds of years ago when I am visiting a temple in Japan. One of my favorite things about a temple is Mr. Ah and Mr. Ooh they will always greet you at the front door of many temples in Japan. I just have to say Japan is a very nice place to me.

Visiting a temple

Myokoh-Ji temple was quite beatiful today and very close to where I live. I like that temple is very simple but also seems complicated just like Buddhism. This temple has a very koi pond that of course is extremely well kept. The koi are of a wide variety of colors and are quite active. The temple is a very peaceful place and I felt quite relaxed there. Have a great day everyone.

Today I ate delicious ramen

Hello everyone today I ate very delicious ramen at a very nice little traditional Japanese ramen shop. I ate very spicy pork ramen and it was quite delicious. The name of the shop was Ichi Tsuru small place but very busy. The noodles were exceptional and the broth was so incredibly tasty I could not stop drinking it. The man cooking these delicious bowls of soup was working very hard and I mean this cat was sweating his ass off. In Japan eating ramen is taken very seriously and if you open a ramen shop you better be good or you will soon be shut down. Okay now for the English translation of this ramen shop and that is One Crane ramen shop. The cost is rather reasonable for such a delicious bowl of soup at approximately $6.75 you will be tasting something that you have never tasted before in your life. So if you are ever in Tsurukawa, Japan I highly recommend Ichi Tsuru.

Same Old Stuff Kinda

Well nothing really going on but stuff is going on but that is private. I have decided to try a new font for this week's blog Trebuchet whatever that is it sounded interesting. This week in school went by without hitch kinda. I had slight difficulties with my thesis statement which I thought was okay but I was incorrect. I got it corrected by early in the evening on Tuesday so I was safe received much help doing it and that was much appreciated. A & P II went fairly well also this past week and the end of this term is getting closer and I am looking forward to getting closer to my goal of getting a college degree.

This past week I have done some business on ebay and sold a particular item of pretty good value. My customer is trying to play around and get something for free. This whole process is p********* me off luckily I am protected but it has caused me great stress. I have had to try and study and deal with this person at the same time for the past 6 days. I know one thing for sure now I will never do business with this guy again. I would say gentleman because it is business and I am a polite individual but that word does not exist for this GUY!!!! So school went by without a hitch this week but other things in my life are very much filled with hitches. These things cause extreme financial difficulties and a couple cannot afford to do anything can hardly pay the bills. I think I am done with my blog for now but it seems like I will be visiting my blog again later this week. I hope everybody has a great week.

Losing IT!!!! just a little

I feel like I am losing it just a little bit this week. School is literally kicking my butt this week to keep it somewhat polite. In one class in particular I have a project due an exam to take and the discussion board in another class there is a project due, discussion board and this wonderful blog. It's not that I complaining in any way shape or form just this week I seem to be a little overwhelmed from many other things also. Oh yes I also forgot I am also tutoring in Survey of Mathematics. I know everything is going to workout it just seems like a very rough road this week and I don't know how I am going to manage. I have done something already this week majorly affecting my professional career I changed programs to medical transcription. It made a lot of sense to me being that I had prior health information management expierence. I am really looking forward to the change and being half way finished with my degree plan at the end of this term. This week's blog is nothing about my running but there is a good reason for this as anybody can see I cannot really focus on running so much now. Next week I think there will be more about running cause I foresee a little calmer week. YAY!!!

My life as a student

My life as a student so far has been very interesting. I love what I am studying and I look forward to graduating within a year but there are many things that seem to be lying in my way. I once took some time off from work to focus and study very hard so I asked for a short leave of absence. When I came back from my short leave of absence I had lost my full time job and my hours were reduced to 24 hours a week. I know now employers do not like it when there employees are in school. They fear that you will want to leave work and do something better in your life. When I came back from my leave of absence I was in the honors program which is what I wanted to do. Basically the leave of absence accomplished what I wanted it to and I have been an honors student ever since. I have ran into a lot OH GOOD FOR YOU!!!! glad you are doing so well in school. Ah yes sarcasm and jealousy two more things lying in the way of graduating and receiving a degree. It is so unfortunate that people are this way and don't want other people to succeed. It is such a long and winding road this college thing but I know it is going to end before I know it and I am so excited. I cannot wait to tell THESE PEOPLE I have my college degree now and you can no longer give me a bad attitude. I have to say this terms College Composition II class makes me feel very good. I really appreciate the opportunity to write about how I feel and my expierences. I am sure I am not the only one in any of my classes that has some bad expierences since enrolling in Kaplan. I am very grateful for Kaplan giving me this wonderful chance to get a college degree and really learn a profession and change my life. Thank you very much for reading my blog.

Helping My Older Brother Part II

Here we go again it appears as though my brother is progressing quite well with his exercise program and diet. My brother has lost 7 pounds now so he is obviously following my program even on the days we do not get together. I am also working with him on his diet by making sure he stays away from fatty foods and SODAS! Notice how I emphasized sodas the dude has a soda problem. I have recommended to him that he take in plenty of B vitamins. B vitamins stimulate the metabolism and help break down foods to use as energy. I always recommend B-12 it is the best metabolic stimulator and energy provider. Now my brother with all of great dietary help he has more energy now. When I was helping early on he could only walk pretty slow for 30 minutes. Then we were able to move it up to 40 minutes on the treadmill still pretty slow. Now with an improved diet he walks 40 minutes with some inclines and jumps rope for 10 minutes. Next up is to increase the rope jumping to 15 minutes and we can hold steady with that for awhile. I have hope that I can get at least a small cut of this biggest loser competition if he wins. I heard through the grape vine it has increased to $100.00 for the winner. I think I have put in enough work on this project to get at least a small cut. hehehe!!!

Coffee And The Runner

I have definitely have been drinking coffee as long as I have been a competitive runner and it has always worked for me. I do not think I could actually train on a daily basis without my coffee. There was a time I was visiting a friend and he was not a coffee drinker and I had to race on the weekend I was visiting him. What a terrible mistake that was no coffee and run a 5 mile road race YIKES!!! Needless to say the race did not go well I really should have won this pretty low key race instead I was 4th. At the starting line I felt half awake and not my usual KEYED UP SELF!! About half way through the race I managed to get into gear but that was a little late and I was way too far behind. I do not feel as coffee is an addiction since I often notice that I accomplish a lot more under the influence of coffee. Notice how I say under the influence of coffee just trying to be funny. I know that caffeine is very good for me and helps me get things DONE!!! I also like to call it my taking care of business drug. In the 70's there was a commercial about coffee and getting things accomplished. The name of the commercial was become "A Coffee Achiever" I love those commercials. I like to call myself a Coffee Achiever!!!
This is to be continued on another day when I have had my fill of COFFEE!! Farewell!

Helping my older brother

Today is going to be the first day I help my older brother with a training program to help him lose weight. I think he is going to enjoy his training program cause I know I will. It will be pleasure in assisting him lose some weight and maybe win a competition at work. You see at the hospital where he works at they are doing a biggest loser competition and I guess the one who loses the most wins $50.00 or something like that. Today for my brothers training it is going to be all cardio and I think it is going to be a little challenging. He will be a little gassed after todays workout but it is going to be a great day for him.

Interesting day

Today is the first day of my blog. I chose Aaron Pierson marathoning because I love to run marathons. Marathoning has done so much for me and I am forever grateful. Today started very interesting I was denied a coaching opportunity because of my proximity you see this particular woman lives in Oakland, CA. and I live in Warren, MI and to her this does not work. I wish she would reconsider but I don't think she will. I remember during my prime marathoning years I was definitely coached afar and mean really afar. I was coached by reading books by successful coaches and athletes and remembering my past coaches workouts. I was also mentored by a very successful runner but other than that it was me and a few books and a creative mind. So to me proximity is meaningless but to others I guess it is very important. One last thing for my first day of blogging this font is called Georgia so the font is dedicated to all of my new Georgia friends.
